So sweet, I have one silkie, a Black Silkie Rooster. He is my only rooster but there are four Bantam ladies for hime to breed with 1 Silver Sebright and 3 Mottled Cochins. He does seem to prefer his women large though I have six standard size birds that he tries to mate with but I don’t think he is successful at that. When one of the bantams goes broody next spring I plan to let her have some of the small eggs to hatch just to see what the mixed breeds will look like.

Sounds great! We have a splash silkie rooster that we plan to breed with our white silkies. Can’t wait to see those little chicks…..
